Biography
Emilee Winter is originally from Raleigh but has resided in the Charlotte area since graduating from Campbell University School of Law in 2022. After learning about environmental law and policy while at UNC Wilmington, Emilee discovered her passion for law and advocating for others. Emilee served in AmeriCorps for two years prior to starting law school. During this time, Emilee served as a mentor for exceptional children in an elementary school in western North Carolina and a volunteer and outreach coordinator for the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
Throughout law school, Emilee volunteered in the Community Law Clinic and the Restorative Justice Clinic. She gained valuable experience representing clients in driver’s license restorations and expunctions. After taking a Family Law class in law school, Emilee knew practicing family law would provide the opportunity to zealously advocate for families and children both inside and outside of the courtroom.
In her free time, Emilee enjoys spending time with her cats and her family and going on adventures, such as hiking, scuba diving, and kayaking.
